This was an old Rogue Trader Mekboy that found it's way into one of the Gorka Morka gangs I painted up. In the days of Rogue Trader you could never have enough Mekboys in my oppinion. Now since I don't use my original 40K army or these Gorka Morka gangers he sits in a box. He was painted in a hurry and could use some more highlights and detail work on the gun especially.
I've spent a lot of time touching up and repainting old Chaos models, but I'll never repaint my old Rogue Trader and 2nd Edition Space Orks as it will be just too much work. There are so many models and bits now you can convert up your dream model much easier, but the old metal sculpts had character and there is a lot of nostalgia for them in the Oldhammer community online. I definitely think I could do a better job on this model if I didn't paint two gangs in a single weekend.
