This is the original Ghazghkull Thraka model. The new one is considerably larger. This was probably my best paint job of that era. There was a lot of detail on this model. I didn't paint the banner I think it was a photocopy from White Dwarf.
The paint job, i.e. the colors and techniques is close to what the 'Eavy Metal painter did in the White Dwarf. Obviously it isn't painted as well but I did try some things like blending red into yellow on the horns and sword hilt. I put a spare plastic beakie helmet on the top of the back banner pole. There used to be a lot more back banners in Rogue Trader and Second Edition models.
I've gotten better at painting Greenskins even taking something like five years off from miniature painting didn't prevent me from getting better results than this when I finally picked up the brushes again.
