His work spanned genres including rock, pop, adult contemporary, dance, musical theater, and film music. He is best known for his long-running collaborations with Meat Loaf and Bonnie Tyler, particularly the albums "Bat Out of Hell", "Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell", and "Faster Than the Speed of Night".
