This is the older, out of print, Skaven thrower model. One thing I've always done is have two throwers on my team. Sure Hands plus Pass is pretty useful, I generally have one thrower who excells at throwing and another who plays safety on defense, often giving him Block. This allows some of my most skilled players to not have to play defense as often, Gutter Runners are frequent targets of retribution when the other team has the ball too.
