This was taken on the Phimeanakas I believe. I had already visited Angkor Thom earlier in the day but the photos were not deemed as good and did not make it into this gallery. I usually walk all the way around a temple taking pictures before going inside. Somehow I failed to notice that I ended up on the steepest side of the temple. I didn't come all the way to Cambodia to stand at the bottom so I climbed up.
I then had to carefully set up my camera at the top and climb backwards down quickly to take this photo. I know some people took pictures of me setting up this shot. What I failed to notice when I walked around the temple, was there was a metal handrail on another side... I wasn't confident enough in my footing to make the horns of the devil sign. The steps on some of the temples are mighty narrow...
