Day 2: Angkor Wat

On the second day of my three day temple pass, I took one of the bicycles from my guest house. It didn't have the best breaks and I don't recommend biking to the further afield temples, but biking to Angkor Wat is feasible. It is cheaper than hiring a moped and if you can handle the heat and exertion is recommended once. Biking in a monsoon is not recommended, I was lucky enough to avoid this fate, some aren't.

This was one of the easier photos to set up, I just put the tripod on the railing. Shame about the crane but I had good weather for the morning especially. It sometimes pays to get out of bed early in Siem Reap. Note my Turbojugend Pacific Rim hat, it is one of a kind, I made it with the iron on I got at the record release party. I had to explain the hat several times during my MBA program. Not that many MBA students have a passion for rock n' roll, especially the heavier variety. Our class was lucky to have one or two. Also note how clean it is, by the end of my time in Cambodia, it was much dingier and stained with sweat and genuine Cambodian dust.
